1. Poppy Cascade

This cascade is the smaller of the two pieces designed by Irene Banister and created by 34 Llandudno Poppy Crafters. The larger piece is on display in Ty Gobaith.

Ormeside Grange have continued the Poppy theme on their Victorian Verandas the same as Mostyn Street.

The purple poppies represent all the animals and those who gained the Dickin Medal equivalent to “The Victorian Cross” for their heroism and devotion to duty. Maria Dickin CBE 1870-1951 was the founder. It is a bronze medallion bearing the words“For Gallantry” and “We Also Serve”.
