9. Criccieth Gown of Poppies in Art Deco Atrium Windows

Clare’s Dept Store was founded in 1927 & owned by the Baxter family until around the 2000s.  Still in family ownership, it retains its Art Deco atmosphere but with up-to-date stock.
Hosting the Creative Criccieth Collectives Gown of Poppies, a ‘Treasure of Wales’ for the entirety of October.  It was brought to life during the Lockdown by the people of Criccieth as a deep act of Remembrance.  There are few words to describe it & to stand in front of it is to marvel at human capability.  Thank you Ladies it is a treasure & you are the Gems of Criccieth!
